Description:
Portulacaria afra, commonly known as Elephant Bush, is a hardy, drought-tolerant succulent native to South Africa. This versatile plant features small, round, glossy green leaves on reddish-brown stems, forming a bushy and architectural shape that's equally at home in outdoor rockeries or as a low-maintenance indoor feature in Melbourne. Favoured for its ability to store water in its leaves and stems, it thrives in dry, sunny environments and requires minimal watering. It prefers well-drained soil and benefits from occasional pruning to maintain a compact form. Outdoors, it can be grown as a low hedge or bonsai-style specimen, while indoors it makes a tidy, sculptural addition to bright windowsills. In very hot or dry conditions, mature plants may produce tiny pink-purple flowers, though this is uncommon in Melbourne’s cooler climate. Highly valued for its carbon-sequestering abilities and minimal care requirements, the Elephant Bush is a sustainable and stylish choice for both contemporary and arid gardens.

Glow in the dark dog ball
If u shine a bright light on these balls they glow for 15 min. My dog has a double coat and I live in fl so I play outside at night and this glow ball fits the bill. Lots of fun. The ball is made well and so far has survived the jaws of my king shepherd. Im happy with my purchase and have also purchased them for family and friends

Glowing Orbs can be fun.
My dog loves these balls. He can’t break them, which is hilarious. The fact that they glow and double as a cognitive toy when you hide treats inside is a huge bonus. My dog is literally darker than the night. We leave the ball near a lamp for 10–15 minutes, then take it outside and throw it. Watching a pitch-black blur sprint at full speed and suddenly seeing a glowing orb bouncing through the night is unreal. Great toy. Highly recommend.

The ideal fetch ball
Our dog is obsessed with these. They bounce well, they’re squishy enough to meet his chewing needs but strong enough to not get destroyed. We do replace them every 8-10 months because after 2-3 20 min fetch sessions almost everyday they do rip. They have a nice weight to them so they’re easy to hurl 20-30 yards.

The best for fetching enthusiasts
We have two lab mix dogs that love to play fetch but also have very strong jaws and sharp teeth. Tennis balls last about 10 seconds. I have used these for several years now and they are the best. They glow in the dark for night fetching, have two holes and are hollow so they whistle when you throw them. The dogs chew them like gum when not fetching and they hold up. They last about a year before starting to tear (this is with almost daily use). These balls are their favorites and get they upset if I use something else.
