LOCATION AND LIGHT:

To mimic the dappled light that hits the forest floor, Anthurium need BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT. Place directly in front of a North or East-facing window, or keep it pulled back 4-8 feet from Western or Southern exposures. Too much exposure to direct sun will burn the leaves. 

WATER:

Anthurium like to be watered thoroughly, and left to dry out. Water when the soil has dried down halfway down the pot and be sure to keep your soil well aerated. As epiphytes, their roots need to remain well oxygenated, and will not tolerate heavy, or waterlogged soil.
