The need for a reliable, compact, and easy to use malfunction clearing tool is a tool that has eluded end users for a very long time. Previously the paint can opener from your local hardware store was the improvised solution for this job. With the EXTRACT-R we have decided to make a more refined and effective tool that suits these needs. Using a custom extractor hook geometry that has been perfected here at Red Clover Gear, it cuts and grabs the case rim or other debris inside the weapon to get the best purchase possible and allows for a lever arm to pry out the stuck, mangled, jammed, or separated case.

The Red Clover Gear EXTRACT-R is a truly multi function tool with several specialized tools integrated into a compact package.

• CASTLE NUT WRENCH – The rear of the EXTRACT-R features a an open ended castle nut spanner to fix walking castle nuts in the field.
• PIN PUNCH – Several surfaces on the EXTRACT-R are deliberately extended to allow you a surface to press takedown pins or set a walking bolt catch roll pin.
• HEX BIT DRIVER – On the end of the EXTRACT-R we’ve added a 1/4″ hex bit driver, this allows leverage on standard hex bits.
• GAS TUBE TOOL –  Black Hills Designs has optimized the end hook geometry to allow users to straighten gas tubes inside upper receivers. During common bolt override malfunctions your M4/AR15 gas tube might bend due to the stuck round and result in various failures until the gas tube is bent back or replaced.
• CARBON SCRAPER – (MULTIPLE) – Multiple key surfaces of the EXTRACT-R have been specifically designed to allow scraping of M4/AR15 and other common carbines.
• WIDE SPAN FLATHEAD –  (THIN/THICK)  – Atop the EXTRACT-R is a unique stepped widespan flathead which allows multiple size flathead screws to be tightened in field conditions.
